I Write Because Writing is my Hobby - SYNW Interview with Ifeoma Isabella Okeke-Eze


I WRITE BECAUSE WRITING IS MY HOBBY -  INTERVIEW WITH IFEOMA ISABELLA OKEKE-EZE



Ifeoma Isabella Okeke is a poet and story writer. She is a member of the Society of Young Nigerian Writers, SYNW Lagos State Chapter and an executive member of the Eko Book Club (EBC) an initiative of the National Library of Nigeria, Lagos State Branch. SYNW - Why do you write?

IFEOMA
- I write because writing is my hobby.

SYNW - Which Novelists do you admire?

IFEOMA -
My favourite authors are chimamada Adichie, Buchi Emechata, Wole Soyinka, Ben Carson, Chinua Achebe and so many more.

SYNW - What advice would you give to an aspiring novelist like yourself?

IFEOMA
- They should not give up on their writing career. Whatever they can write, they should write it now. If you believe you can do it. You will surely make it. It might be difficult in the beginning but with prayer and hardworking you will surely get there. Take that bold step today and start writing.

SYNW - Are there any authors (living or dead) that you would name as influences?

IFEOMA
- Les Brown and Ben Carson 

SYNW - What was the book that most influenced your life-and why?

IFEOMA
- Gifted hands by Ben Carson- I learnt a lot of things there and it's a good story. And you should always remember that Life isn't about waiting out the storm; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.

SYNW - Give us three "Good to know" facts about you

IFEOMA
– My three basic principles are look, listen and learn. I learn new things every day.

SYNW - Who inspired you to write?

IFEOMA - My dad.

SYNW - What else do you want your readers to know? Consider here, your likes/dislikes,your interests and hobbies.

- Well Ifeoma Isabella Okeke is an upcoming, dedicated and passionate writer. i like
writing, cooking and learning new languages and for now i don't have a dislike yet. My favourite Quote is. Learn from yesterday, Live for today, Hope for tomorrow.
